You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. That’s my job. I’ll guide you the entire time and keep things relaxed and easy. Expect movement, laughter, and real moments. Not stiff, awkward posing.

My goal is for you to feel comfortable and like yourself, not like you’re performing for the camera.

If kids are involved, come as you are. They do not need to be perfect. Real families and real personalities make the best photos.

One important request: please don’t give your kids candy right before the session. I say this with love and experience. 😄

You’re in very good company. Almost everyone feels this way.

You don’t need to know how to stand, smile, or pose. I’ll guide you the entire time, adjust little things, and keep things moving so it never feels stiff or forced.

If it feels natural in the moment, it will look natural in your photos.

Kids don’t need to be perfectly behaved for great photos. I expect movement, emotions, and personality, especially with little ones. We’ll take breaks if needed and follow their lead when it makes sense.

Some of my favorite images come from the in-between moments. You never need to apologize for your kids being kids.

The earlier, the better, especially for fall and peak seasons. Those dates fill quickly.

If you have a specific timeframe, season, or location in mind, booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance is recommended. Mini sessions and themed sessions book even faster, so once dates are released, it’s best to grab a spot right away.

Last-minute availability does happen sometimes, so feel free to reach out if your timeline is tight.

A signed agreement and payment are required before your session, unless an email agreement has been discussed.

Weather happens, and I always keep an eye on it leading up to your session.

If conditions are unsafe or just not ideal, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost. Overcast days are often beautiful for photos, so light cloud cover usually isn’t an issue.

For outdoor sessions, final weather decisions are typically made within 24 hours of your session time. We’ll communicate clearly and make a plan together.

Absolutely. I love helping choose locations that fit your vibe and your family.

I photograph throughout Meade County and surrounding areas and can suggest parks, fields, farms, creek locations, or more urban settings. If you have a meaningful location in mind, even better. Places that matter to you always photograph beautifully.

Once booked, we’ll finalize the location together.

Sessions within Meade County are included.

Travel outside of Meade County may include an additional travel fee depending on distance. Any travel fees will always be discussed and approved before booking so there are no surprises.

A few easy guidelines to keep things simple:

Coordinate instead of matching. One patterned piece works great.

Avoid large logos or bold graphics.

Dress for confidence. If you can’t move in it, it will show.

You don’t need to buy everything new. Shop your closet or borrow pieces.

After booking, you’re always welcome to send me outfit options. I’m happy to help you narrow it down.

Image counts vary by session type and are listed on the investment page.

I focus on quality over quantity and deliver the best images from your session, fully edited and ready to download.

No. I only deliver final, professionally edited images that reflect my work and style.

You’ll receive an online gallery delivered through Pixieset where you can download images, share them with family, and order prints if you choose.

Galleries remain active for 14 days after delivery. Re-hosting after that period is $35.

Absolutely. Your personal-use print release allows you to share your images online.

I just ask that you don’t apply filters, screenshot, or alter the images. That affects quality and doesn’t represent my work well. This is also outlined in the contract.

Yes. Your gallery includes a personal-use print release.

You’re free to print your images wherever you’d like. For best quality, I recommend professional labs or ordering directly through your gallery. I’ll include suggestions in your gallery email.

All final images are professionally edited for color, exposure, and overall polish. I also remove temporary distractions like blemishes or stray hairs when needed.

I don’t drastically alter appearances or body shape. My goal is to keep images natural and true to you.

Make sure everyone is fed, rested, and comfortable. Bring water, snacks for kids, and anything that helps them feel secure.

Arrive a few minutes early so we can start relaxed and on time.

After your session, I’ll carefully cull and edit your images.

Final galleries are typically delivered within 2 to 4 weeks, or 3 to 5 weeks for extended families or events. Once your gallery is ready, you’ll receive an email with a download link.

You never need to check in to make sure I didn’t forget about you. I promise I didn’t. I’m just working behind the scenes to give each gallery the time it deserves.
