I have been wanting to do these for a long time and after this session, I knew it was time.
Meet Alaina.
A tiny sassy spitfire who had me laughing from the second she walked into the studio. She posed. She made faces. She spun.
She crossed her arms like she was running the place. And she was absolutely herself the entire time.
And that is exactly what these sessions are about.
Not perfect smiles.
Not stiff poses.
Not telling kids to stand still and say cheese.
Just them.
What Are Personality Sessions?
Personality Sessions are quick studio sessions designed to capture who your child really is right now.
The silly.
The confident.
The shy.
The dramatic.
The sweet.
All of it.
These sessions are short, fun, and relaxed. They are perfect if your child does not love long sessions or if you want something simple that still feels meaningful.
They are also great for older kids and teens who want something quick but still really cool.
Why I Love These So Much
Kids do not stay this version of themselves forever.
The way they move.
The way they laugh.
The expressions they make when no one is telling them what to do.
Personality Sessions freeze that moment in time and that is what makes them so special.
Alaina was a perfect example. One minute she was giving me the sassiest look and the next she was laughing or spinning or hugging her favorite things. Every photo felt like her.
These are the kinds of images you will look back on and say, that was so them.
What to Expect During Your Session
These are not rushed or stressful even though they are short.
I keep things light and playful. I use prompts instead of forcing poses. I let kids move, sit, stand, spin, and be themselves.
There is no pressure to perform. No expectations to act a certain way. If your child is shy, we go slow. If they are wild, we roll with it.
That is where the magic happens.
