Hardesty Farms & Greenhouses | Meade Made

I think places like Hardesty Farms & Greenhouses are a big reminder that there’s a whole lot

more to Meade County than people realize.

Out in Guston, you’ll find rows of flowers, greenhouses full of plants they actually grow themselves, fresh produce, animals, kids playing, and a family that has worked incredibly hard to build something from the ground up.

And honestly… you can feel that when you’re there.

This isn’t one of those places that feels overly polished or fake. It feels real. It feels like home.

What I loved most hearing about their story is how much they’ve adapted over the years.

Farming changed, life changed, and instead of giving up, they figured out new ways to keep

going and keep growing.

Now they have 11 greenhouses, a farm market, produce, flowers, mums, poinsettias, and a

place families genuinely enjoy visiting together.

I also really loved that they talked about wanting people to see the hard work behind everything they do. Not just the pretty flowers, but the early mornings, the long days, the team behind it, and the reality of farm life.

That matters.

You can tell they genuinely care about their community too.

They support local businesses, local agriculture programs, FFA, 4H, and create a space

where families can come hang out, shop, let the kids play, and slow down for a little while.

Honestly, places like this are why I started Meade Made.

There are so many hardworking people here quietly building really cool things, and I want people to see them.

So, if you’ve never been to Hardesty Farms & Greenhouses before, this is your sign to go check them out.
